SEPHORA SPLURGE

As I said in my last post, I got some goodies from Sephora!

I got the Stila My Mother, My Hero($38) combination set and Nars blush in Taos ($25). With the purchase I got 11 samples! ;]

Stila set:

- 0.17 oz Baked Eye Shadow Trio in Gold (gold, bronze, ivory)
- 0.32 oz Illuminating Finishing Powder in Bronze (bronze shimmer)
- 0.13 oz Lip Color in Natalie (a perfect plum)
- 0.15 oz Lash Visor Waterproof Mascara in Black
- Gold Linen Clutch

I love the whole set! The eye shadow trio wasn't anything new because the color can be substituted with some of my colors from the 120 palette. But I do like the gold! they really make it glowy haha LOVE the mascara! It hold my curls to a point but not all the way. And when I applied it, it felt so sturdy and just right! I've never felt a mascara applied on so good! I bascially got this kit for the clutch LOL I can't wait to use it during the summer! It can fit my camera, phone, money, keys! perfecttttt ;]

Now, I've never own any nars product so Taos is my first and omg it's so pigmented! It's absolutely a gorgeous color! It's a rosey color and oh so pretty =)

I'm so happy I order it and because I got a hefty amount of samples lol. Most of them are organic lines. THE BENEFIT BADGAL LASH mascara is not good at all! don't get it!

Mascaras

It was Monday and I was on my way home, on the train, from school, I glance over to the asian lady sitting across from me and I couldn't keep my eyes off her for the entire ride. Why? She took out a walkman! A bright yellow sony walkman! I really couldn't help but stare at her. I know it's not right but I notice I was looking around to see if any beside myself saw what I saw. Everyone seem too occupied to notice but I know this girl next to her noticed also and she too couldn't stop glancing at the walkman once in a while whenever the lady took it out to stop/play/FF, whatever it is lol She even flip it open to change the cassettes! Oh boy I felt embarass for her but she didn't seem to mind at all doing that haha She look like one those ladies who use to do Chinese opera and stuff. But walkman?! thats like 10 years ago.

Anyways, I got some mascaras/nail art pens couple of weeks ago from CVS BOGO sale.

As you can see in the pic, they are Maybellines and Rimmel. I don't like them! They definitely lengthen! But there wasn't really much volume and most of all they did not hold my curls! pooey! But I guess once I master my false lashes, it doesn't matter if I have a mascara that can hold my curls hehe So for now my fav. is still CC lastblast!

Beside those, I got two of the Sally's nail art pens and I LOVE THEM! too bad the black and other colors ran out! =( It's very easy to use, just push it onto the nails and decorate. You def. have to wait a bit and put a top coat or they can easily come off.

My Sephora haul (nars and stila) should be here tom. so post on them next! CAN'T WAIT! ;]

BIG BANG

New Layout + Mitsuwa

how is the layout ? Gave it flavor haha credits to whoever the pictures belong to! I wanted a pink/purple look with white background but I found this cute cig pic with hearts on it so I tried to blend the colors to the colors of the pics. I sorta like it =]

So it's spring break for the kids meaning I don't have to work! This is more like my spring break also because I'm not going out. Just going to stay home and enjoy myself. Most of the days I'll be finishing all the homeworks that are due for the last few weeks of school. I just can't wait for it to be over! This just means that summer is right around the corner! time to shave and go short short short! ^^

So last week I went to Mitsuwa because of this strawberry fair they had. Before I went, I went to the national college fair at Javis center to talk to London Met. It was interesting and I really want to go to London but it really depends on my parents. My other options are Florida or stay here in NY! ={

But anywhoo, so i went to mitsuwa and the strawberyr fair wasn't really a fair at all! It was just a table fill with strawberry goodies and thats about it. I did get a few goodies so here's my haul!

The oreos wasn't as great as I expected! and the pocky just wasn't worth it! there are 9 packs and each only contain 7 sticks! it was for $5 I believe =[ I did enjoy the crunkly, mochi and tamagcookies! I LOVE THE COOKIE!!!<3>
Here's the whole lot! the noodles was really something new lol. It got the wasabi flavor going on which I wasn't too keen on. OMG the curry is freaking delicious! not too spicy just perfect for me!

TOPSHOP

Today was the launch of the UK store : TOPSHOP. I had to go because I got one of the bags from the heartschallenger vans with the giftcard to be use only on the day of the opening! sucks right? So I figure I would go one hour early to line up IN FRONT so I could see Kate Moss launch the shop! BUT DAMN! I got there around 10:15 and the line was around the block! I think I was in in the hundreds maybe less but definitely not over 100 so I got in around 11:30. There was lots and lots of cameras and camcorders and whatnot, press and everything.

While on line, staffs were giving out pinkberry samples, donuts, the van's bag, gc (for those who haven't got one), cookies and I believe there was free starbucks or coffee. They also went around scanning the gc to tell you the amount on it. THIS I LIKE hehe ;)

I really like how it was organize. They didn't let everyone go in at once like a freaking stampede! They only allowed 50 ppl in every 9 minutes so it would be less hectic. There was a lot of people but you can easy navigate around without anyone really pushing you or getting in your way.

The place is freaking huge! 4 floors including the basement which is the topman (mens wear). There was even a DJ area, a little style lounge area to sit at, nice dressing rooms and enough room for a hairdo stylist area, a manicure area, and makeover area. It feels likes a dream come true closet but hidden in it, is your very own manicure/hair/makeup section! BUT the free hairdo/manicure/makeover last only till sunday! =[ SO GO WHILE IT LAST! you gotta sign up and the wait can be and hour to 2!

It seems very like H&M with the exception of the leather and silk part which I think is the right pricing but eevrything else is really over price for someone like me who is use to shopping @ H&M/forever21/AE/AF (clearance). MOST PIECES are at least $40. The Accessories are from $20+ . I spent $109 w/ the $5 gc today on 5 pieces :

thats basically it! I was there from 10:15 - 1:45. I got the free manicure done and its so cute! you're allow to choose only grey,pink, or gold and the designated design on two finger only. There was a flower design (which i got with the grey base) pink w/ zebra stripes, and gold with somet gliterry design.

I'm going back on sat with a friend and I'm getting my makeover !!!
